Aberystwyth Ceramics Collection and Archive (ACCA) – Audience Development Research,

Research and Evaluation

Aberystwyth Ceramics Collection and Archive (ACCA) is part of Aberystwyth University and holds an extensive collection and archive on modern and contemporary UK and international ceramics.

ACCA commissioned me to conduct a small piece of research into developing an audience for touring exhibitions and collections access. Working with ACCA, I developed a research plan that would evaluate opportunities for a touring programme, for partnership working and developing a community both online and on site.

A final report made a series of recommendations towards audience development and a draft public programme to develop a regular audience in the immediate area, and online.

‘In her role as freelance consultant, Ruth Lloyd applied her own initiative and experience to the research project and gave us an insightful report with useful recommendations that we will apply, she was professional and diligent throughout and it was a pleasure to work with her.’
