Ruth Lloyd is a freelance producer and interpretation developer who works with organisations, partnerships and communities. Her work sees her develop, deliver and evaluate public and participatory programmes, displays and interventions that interpret collections, communities, places and ideas.
Ruth has over twelve years valuable experience of working in learning and participation settings in museums and cultural organisations and worked for over ten years at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in the Interpretation, Research and Residencies Department.
Her specific research interest is contemporary creative practice, participatory arts and science, interpretation and representation. Ruth has extensive knowledge in residency programmes, in arts, science and heritage.
She is passionate about producing cutting edge, innovative and challenging projects that surprise, delight and positively impact on public perception and engagement in arts, science, culture and heritage. She has been working as a freelance consultant from South Wales since 2013.
